TEXAS FIBER. REAL OPPORTUNITY.
Texas was allocated up to $3.3 billion through the federal BEAD program to expand high-speed internet access. State broadband programs and network expansion create potential work for underground construction crews.
Western Groundworks builds the physical pathways behind those networks: directional bores, protective conduit, street crossings, vault coordination and site restoration. We support prime contractors and telecom project teams across San Antonio, Austin and South Texas.
BEAD supports multiple technologies; its full allocation is not a fiber-only market or a Western contract award. Work depends on project awards, design, permits and construction schedules.
FROM ROUTE TO RESTORATION.
01 / Review the route. Share plans, footage, crossings, access and schedule. We review the underground construction scope with your project team.
02 / Coordinate the field. Match crews and equipment to site conditions. Plan utility verification, entry and exit pits, traffic access and daily safety briefings.
03 / Build and document. Complete directional bores and conduit installation with bore logs, footage records, redlines and jobsite photos.
04 / Restore and close out. Coordinate vault work, surface restoration and final records for project review.
Texas crews. Practical equipment. Ditch Witch AT32 and Vermeer 23x30DR drilling equipment supporting work across San Antonio, Austin and South Texas.
BUILT TO CONNECT.
We build the underground pathways that connect Texas communities.
Our mission is to support broadband expansion with safe, efficient, and reliable underground utility work.

YOUR PROJECT. ANSWERED.
What does Western install?
We focus on underground civil work for fiber networks: directional bores, conduit and crossings, with vault coordination, restoration and field records. Cable placement, splicing and testing must be defined separately in the project scope.
Where do you work?
San Antonio, Austin and South Texas, including the Rio Grande Valley. Mobilization depends on scope and schedule.
What do you need for a quote?
Send the location, plans, estimated footage, conduit sizes, crossings, ground conditions and target dates.
